I changed my project objectives again, and for the final time! My objectives are now to make professional maps. I decided with my professional goals of environmental interpretation and/or environmental advocacy I would have to be proficient at making professional looking panels, posters, flyers, blogs, etc. So, this week I made adjustments to my two professional maps... I adjusted the neat line to fit the whole page changed the position of the map location and legend changed the north arrow got rid of my name because that will be on the title of the poster changed the color of the symbols in the map showing mean area so it is easier to see added a description (although I will probably adjust that to be on my final poster) added the logo of the National Snow and Ice Data Center I played around with trying to figure out how to get rid of the white space on the map to make the text on the poster look similar to those we looked at in class. Blog Post 4

This week I had to create two separate Map documents because my file was so big. It took a while because nothing would load,  but I created two professional maps, one showing average elevation of the glaciers and one showing average area of the glaciers. Next week I will continue to clean up the maps. I also have different north arrows on the maps, I was trying to see which one I liked best and I think that I like the more slender north arrow the best. Next week I may even start analyzing the data. I am thinking that I could download the data into excel and create some graphs. We'll see how it goes.
