For the Adirondack region (map 1) I have the data for the blue line, the river and stream systems, and a few data points of creeping jenny plants from the 1990's. These points are outdated, while I have not decided if I want to include these points in my analysis, they will be helpful when drawing conclusions and writing recommendations.
For the Catskill region (map 2), I have included a map of New York state for perspective since there is less data on the boundaries of the Catskills than of the Adirondack region. Included are the individual data points of creeping jenny plants for the Catskill region which will be used for a density analysis.
Research on the preferred growing conditions of creeping jenny will be conducted in order to use model builder to perform a risk assessment of creeping jenny in the Adirondack region.
For further assessment, if deemed necessary once the analysis is conducted, individual points of creeping jenny around the Albany / Mohawk area will be plotted to show the close proximity of the plant to the Adirondack to show that the plants could very well creep over the blue line.
